These terms apply to everyone who uses Cloudsoft Zone. Using the site means accepting them.

What this site is

Cloudsoft Zone publishes technology guides and an independent directory of software, tools and technology services. It is not affiliated with the companies it lists, and being listed is not an endorsement.

About the listings

Listing details (what a product does, its pricing model, platforms and links) are checked by our editors before publication, and each listing shows when its details were last checked. Products change quickly, and a check made once can go out of date. Please confirm prices, plans and features with the vendor before you buy.

Some listings and placements are paid for, and every paid listing, featured placement, advert, sponsored article and guest post is labelled where it appears. No company can pay to rank higher in search results or to change a review or a rating. Featured placements appear in a separate, labelled block and never change the order of the results themselves.

If you find something on a listing that is wrong, tell us and we will correct it.

Guides and code examples

Our guides and code examples are written and checked carefully, but they are provided as they are. Test anything you take from them before you rely on it, especially in production, and follow the documentation of the software you use. See the Disclaimer for more.

Reviews, comments and other contributions

When you write a review or a comment you confirm that it describes your own experience and that you have the right to publish what you wrote.

Everything is read by a moderator before it appears. We will refuse or remove a contribution that names an individual, contains somebody's personal information, advertises something, describes an experience that is not yours, or is abusive. The Review Guidelines set this out in full.

You keep ownership of what you write. By submitting it you give us permission to publish it on this site, and to edit it for length or to remove a personal detail. Where we do edit, the page says so.

Acceptable use

Do not use this site to harvest contact details, to send unsolicited messages to the companies listed, to attempt to gain access to any part of it you are not meant to reach, or to interfere with its operation. Automated collection of the directory is not permitted.

Our own content

The guides, category descriptions and the design of the site belong to us. You are welcome to link to any page and to quote short passages with a link back. Republishing substantial parts of the site requires our permission. Code snippets in our guides may be used in your own projects.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee either. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of the site, from code or instructions you apply, or from dealings with a company you found through it; those dealings are between you and the company. Nothing here limits rights you have under the consumer law that applies to you.

Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with the date they took effect.
